Screen first: Right we traced and tested the purple/orange heated screen wire from engine bay fuse box to central fuse box, all perfect. Traced and tested the wires to both sides of the screen, again perfect. Checked and tested both wires from the screen, no problems at all. Next we forced the relay (6 engine fuse box) to switch on.
Hi guys. First time poster here. Got a 2010 Mondeo, and it have been working perfect for 5 years now. All of a sudden the outdoor temperature thingy says its 58C. Well, I`m from Norway, and I`m pretty sure its just 15C even in the summer :/ I would love some clear instruction on how to find the t
Ford Year: 2008. UK/Ireland Location: Durham. Posted February 7, 2022. I recently had the black dash dead problem on my Mondeo, asked about a new one very expensive, tried the scrappers spares department, eventually went to Auto Electrics, The repair took one hour, which included instrument strip and resolder with British solder and reassembly.
I have had my Mondeo MK3 for a year now, and the right hand side of the heated windscreen has never worked. About 3 weeks ago, a stone flew up and cracked my windscreen. As I had insurance, I paid the £60 excess and got the windscreen replaced, expecting my previous problem to be resolved. Well unfortunately the right hand side still doesn't
Unless your screen is steamed / fogged up on the inside, you wont notice that your heated screen is working or not. It doesn't give out a detectable heat by skin contact, and doesn't show any signs other than the light on the button that it is switched on.

How to Test a Fuse. Step 1: You’ll need to your Ford Mondeo’s fuse box location . On most makes and models, it’s to the left of the driver’s seat (when you are behind the steering wheel). Step 2: Once you access your car’s fuse box, you’ll need to locate the radio fuse. You should see a schematic printed on the door.

My heated windscreen on my 06 Mondeo has stopped working on the drivers side. There is a distinct divide down the centre of the screen. What could the problem be with half the screen working perfectly … read more a sensors are good (tried to read it by TPMS scanner tool), but don't wanna work on a car, we tried to update BCM even, not helped. In the end we changed by wheels (mine has original Ford sensors, with FoMoCo logo) and his car had seen my wheels, but mine doesn't. Please avoid these sensors, I strongly recommend it: confirmed non-work 1.

The problem is that the drivers side window switch can only seem to operate the following windows: -the drivers' window in both directions. -the front passengers' window in the UP direction. Also if one of the switches inside the drivers switch assembly is pressed, it burns which causes nasty smoke . If this switch is held down for a few
The issue is the cruise control is not powering on, the switch to the left hand side of the steering wheel that puts the cruise control into standby, the switches on the right hand side that actually set the cruise control to your current speed and allow you to adjust the speed are working fine. The bottom switch of the three on the left hand
Now, I drove the car last week and everything was working fine regarding the washer jets. However, last night I got in the car to drive from Birmingham to London and the washer jets were not working at all - it was in the evening and the temperature was probably around 0 to -2 when leaving and as cold as -4 through the journey.
Just purchased today, a 2008 Mondeo estate, Titanium X 2.0L diesel, manual. Everything seems fine apart from the cruise control - I can't get it to work. When you press the button on the left hand side of the wheel it posts a message about cruise control in standby. Then when I press the + or - buttons it just clears the display.

On closer inspection, it turned out that the LED unit within the cluster had died, but the reverse lamp was still working. Car was still under warranty from Ford
Posted January 3, 2009. Right buddy, common reasons for this on the mondeo. 1 the pipes popped off the pump. Signs of this are a puddle under the nearside front when you use washers. 2 Pipe to rear is joined under the headliner on the right hand side near the back door. Check Settings and Fuses. The second easiest fix is to check your settings and ensure they’re properly set up. Doing so can help make sure you’re using the steering wheel properly and may fix your problem. Afterward, check your fuses. Look at your manual to see where the fuses on your specific vehicle are.

I picked up a really nice 2014 F-150 Lariat. But one big problem: the touch screen doesn't respond to my fingers. I've done considerable Googling but haven't found much (mostly people's problems have to do with phone sync issues and black screens). My screen is lighting up just fine, but since I can't use any of the buttons I can't pair a phone
Hello Andy, having rechecked your model, I don't think that there is a non-return valve fitted on the front screen wash. As you probably know the front and rear use the same pump it just runs in a different direction depending which screen needs washed. .
