I rarely use those on mine, maybe once every week at most. Definitely looks like you're basically electroplating it with your sweat. I doubt it's harmful in any way and it's just discolouration caused by natural metals in your sweat bonding to the metal. You can even see where hairs have blocked it in places.

The Samsung Watch feels bigger [which i prefer] as its round compared to Apples Square design. The bezels on it around the screen feel slightly larger but for me this isn't a make or break. Apples customisation options suck. They're utter garbage. The app store on that watch doesn't make it better either.

It is all about your budget. If you are a sporty person, go with the Active. If you want some luxury item, go with Galaxy Watch. Personal Opinion: If you are a Apple user, look for nothing, just get Series 3 - 4 watch. If i were you, i would take a look at Google WearOS watches too.

The watch 4 is still great. I don't really use the health features so I turned them off. Just needed a smartwatch for notifications. It's great. Battery lasts long just for notifications. Watch 4 is still fast considering it's the same processor with the regular watch 5 also. Similarly, the Strava UI is just better, although perhaps less of a difference than with Spotify. Texting using Google messages between your phone and watch on Watch4 feels like the same experience. While the Active2 feels more like you're responding only to notifications and not really in a texting app, the Google Messages app on Watch4 feels After installing it from the Play store, go Settings-->Advanced features-->Customize keys. Then change the setting for Press & Hold to Assistant. Now, wherever you hold the Home key, Google Assistant will activate instead of Bixby. You can make the button activate Google Wallet as well.
